This series started in 2006 in response to the stories about the ‘axis of evil’ and fears about North Korean nuclear proliferation that were flooding the airwaves. It explores image recontextualization. The original series consists of four paintings that deal explicitly with North Korea, but in this website I have included other works that deal with similar ideas.
